Pure Consciousness

There are three states only in our human life.

         They are wake, dream and sleep.

         Turiya is not the fourth one;it's what lies underneath all the above three.

         But people do not understand this turiya .
         Hence, they claim this turiya is the fourth state and the only Reality.

In fact, it is not apart from anything as it forms the basis or substratum of all happenings in our life.

It is the common for all three states but not a part of it: it is the pure consciousness or knowledge or wisdom. 

In other words, Self or Atman is the Reality and it is always there during your conscious, subconscious and dream states of your day to day life. This implies that these three states are illusions  only .

But we remain unaware of this truth, and tend to think and behave as if we are the doers of every action and take pride in them.

So, Turiya refers to the Self or Reality which goes with all the three situations of awareness, sleep and dream.

Let us not take the responsibility for the action we do, but discharge the duties without caring for the outcome: because turiya is the witness to all situations, and it is bound to vouch for the outcome of your action.

If you think that you are superior to others, that notion would lead to so many other problems in life: because, you tend to behave possessive and don't mind even harming others.That is pure pride arising from selfish attitude.
