Mind

Mind is inherently restless. Start liberating the mind from this restlessness and distractions. Train your mind to look inward by ignoring the world outside and make this exercise as a habit. The repeated practice gives the peace that you  search outside  of you.

Mind always seeks the external knowledge leaving aside its own inner knowledge.

Meditation is actually about how to keep off the thoughts from the mind and to get peace.

Emergence of thought is the root of all mischief and problems we face in the world. Find out and remove those thoughts to have a calm and focused mind.

Wavering of the mind is a weakness arising from the dissipation of its energy in the form of thoughts.

In the realized man, the mind may be active or inactive, the Self(God )alone remains for him.

The mind is useful because of its reflective nature. The source of illumination shines when mind is turned inward. Else, it remains dim and useless like the moon in the day time.

Any kind of activity does not affect a Jnani(Wise Sage) as his mind ever remains in eternal peace without attachment to the  actions he does.

The state of equanimity is the condition of bliss. The declaration in the holy scriptures like Veda as "I am This or That" is only to demonstrate this equanimity to our Mind.
